I want to remind everyone interested in our Natural Care Class Program about the next classes coming up:

Introduction to Herbalism & Making Herbal Medicine (basic)

Both classes will be held Thursday, March 13th starting at 6:00pm

Introduction to Herbalism will cover over 20 common herbs and their uses.  We will also discuss the differences between herbs, herbal medicines, herbal supplements, and medications.  This is a great opportunity for those at all levels.  I hope to also eliminate the confusion of all those natural products out there to make it easier for those who want to choose natural alternatives but don't know where to start. 

Making Herbal Medicine - Basic will start promptly after Intro to Herbalism.  This will be a hands-on workshop in which we will learn to make medicinal teas, healing poultices & plasters, and infusions.  These are all remedies you can use at home to care for your family.  You will also be supplied with my recommended list of recipes for easy references.  Samples of what we make can be brought home to use.
This class will lead up to the next class titled Making Herbal Medicine- Advanced held Thursday March 27th at 6:30pm.

Making Herbal Medicine- Advanced will be an extension of the previous two classes.  This will be a hands-on workshop where we will learn to make herbal medicines at home that are compromable (if not better) than many products found at health stores & suppliers.  Why waste your hard earned money if you can make it yourself???  We will cover making tinctures, herbal syrups, healing salves, and more.  We will also detail proper dosing for adults & children, and how to properly store your home remedies.  If you are serious about knowing what natural medicine is all about, this class is a must!
