Meet the Herbalist

          Hi, my name is Amber Kaiser and I am a generational herbalist who is also a Certified Herbalist and Certified Natural Health Practitioner.  I started learning about plants as a young child playing around the many gardens my mom always had such a joy in growing- a love that she learned much about from her aunt.  My mom always had an intrest in the benefits of herbs and plants, and our kitchen was commonly full of interesting homemade foods, preparations, and home remedies.  When I became a mom, I wanted to learn even more about what I could do naturally for my family.  I decided to go beyond what I remembered from my childhood, to self study and practice home remedies using herbs and other natural options as a Home Herbalist, and beyond that to study for professional Certifications in Herbalism and Wellness after obtaining a college degree.  I began making and creating my own natural products and shared them with friends and family who asked for more because of their effectiveness.  I then started a small business selling all natural herbal lotions, balms, and salves, which you can find here on this website, and have now extended to offer classes and educational materials. 

          Over the years, I have learned so much about herbs from experience, books, other herbalists, profesional courses, and above all have learned that herbalism is a continuous journey that will last a life time!  Every herbalist I have met and worked with has their own favorite herbs, and the journey has been exciting and ever changing with each new person I meet because when we work together we share eachother's knowledge and experience for the medicinal purposes of plants and become stronger in our learning and teaching.  I enjoy teaching and studying Clinical Herbalism, which incorporates a more scientific and "doctor-like" practice of using herbs.  I love knowing about the biological benefits of using plants for the human body and stand in awe at the wonders within this world God has given us.  I have taught classes on a variety of herbal and wellness subjects, and traveled to offer lecutres, demonstrations, and presentations also.  But most impotatntly I am a wife and mom who appreciates that we have the freedom to choose and educate ourselves on not only conventional, but also other natural healing options such as herbs. 

          I am a true believer in the benefits of being outside in the fresh air, digging and planting in the dirt, good natural nutrition, and using herbs only as needed (not as a "band-aid") with proper preparations, combinations, and dosing. We have the ability to find a balance to incorporate the best of conventional and natural means to bettering our health.  God has given us so much knowledge, but he is all-knowing and herbs are just a small part of the evidence of that.  I hope you will enoy this website!
